Tsinghua School of Journalism and Communication [TSJC] is at the forefront of press reform and journalism education reform in China and internationally recognized as one of the best in China.
Tsinghua is a University with a strong tradition of journalism education as early as the 1920s. The first Great Master of Journalism in Chinese History, Professor Liang Qichao was the founding father of modern Chinese newspapers and journalism.
Established in 2002, the TSJC has become a lively and challenging place to study Journalism and Communication. We recognize the importance of supporting learning with high quality teaching. Members of the faculty have won a number of national awards for teaching.
The School has a strong interdisciplinary team, along with a strong commitment to practice and research. With in this environment, you are encouraged to engage critically with the different approaches to the field in a variety of academic and practice disciplines; to develop skills in research and presentation and to explore creative possibilities across a range of media.
