Internships
Students are required to complete an internship as a way to gain professional experience in a news organization in China. Internships come in many forms.
Non-credit Requirements
Student may elect to complete either a formal academic dissertation or a professional portfolio.
Dissertation
Students who choose to write a dissertation are required to conduct an independent research project. Students will be allocated a member of faculty with an interest in the particular topic or issue about which they will conduct their own research. Students are required to submit a dissertation of no less than 12,000 words and no more than 15,000 words in English.
